Our 2 day Paediatric First Aid Award course provides theoretical and practical training in paediatric first aid techniques for infants under 1 year old, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty.

Our skilled trainers will assess your learning throughout the course, ensuring that any problem areas are addressed, and that you go into the final assessments with all the knowledge and skills that you need in order to take on the role of Named First Aider. If you work with large groups of children, in a nursery or childcare centre, or if you work as a child minder, then this 2 day Paediatric First Aid Award will cover everything you need to know to deal with a wide variety of eventualities.
This course also provides vital skills to anyone who has family members who are children. In 2009, a survey done by ‘Mother and Baby Magazine’ showed that a massive 82% out of 2000 parents with young children would not know what to do if their child started choking, was burned or even stopped breathing.
