Our company is delighted to have been successful in re-tendering for the provision of health and safety advisory services for sportscotland. The services we provide assist sportscotland in reducing risks, improving safety performance, and also in identifying effective controls to maximise performance.
As a business, we have been proud to support the health and safety needs of sportscotland since 2018. In turn, we play an integral role in supporting their policy, ensuring activities are carried out in a safe manner. By working together, we ensure the health, safety, and welfare of their employees and others who may be affected by their activities.
We are immensely proud of the work carried out on behalf of sportscotland so far. It’s been great to see the vast improvements made in the safety culture within their organisation. It is also great to see the developed health and safety management framework now being successfully implemented across the organisation.
We are grateful for the continued opportunity to provide our external health and safety advisory services. As a result, we feel we have become an integral part of the sportscotland team, developing a long-standing relationship.

In addition to our existing service provisions for sportscotland, we have been on site at their Glenmore Lodge National Centre. This National Centre is set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The centre offers world class training in outdoor adventure sports and encourages people to enjoy time in the outdoors more often. Through both personal skills and qualification courses, sportscotland is ensuring that the next generation of outdoor instructors are trained to the highest standard.
Our H&S consultant delivered risk assessments and safe systems of work training to the centres’ operational staff, facilities management, maintenance, and catering teams.
The 1/2 day session covered the fundamentals of risk assessment, hazard identification, and developing safe systems of work.
In summary, we are delighted to continue providing our H&S services to sportscotland. As a business we value the relationship we have built with the sportscotland team over the last 6 years. So, we look forward to maintaining and growing these relationships in our renewed contract.
