If you have an employee with a disability, and you’ve developed a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan which shows a requirement for an evacuation chair, then this is the course you need.
This half day course will equip your employees to implement carry down procedures for employees with disabilities, and train them in the safe use of evacuation chairs.
The course covers the deployment and handling of an evacuation chair and passenger, as well as advice on the siting and distribution of chairs, and improving awareness of their multiple uses. Our approach includes plenty of hands-on practice to build confidence – all under our trainer’s expert supervision.
The course is aimed at any staff members who may need to use evacuation chairs, and participants will gain the following competencies:
Understand how to safely use evacuation chairs; and
Be able to demonstrate the practical skills required for safe evacuation chair usage.
It will equip your team with the competency to safely use evacuation chairs;
Practical and interactive, to maximise the effectiveness of the training session;
Delivered by a highly experienced instructor; and
Each delegate will be provided with hand-outs, and certification upon successful completion of the course.
